New faces at the roastery

If you've been into the shop recently, you might have seen some new faces around.

That's because we realised that with the square opening, the summer sizzling and the venue getting a bit of a refurb, we really needed a bigger team!

Enter Haru and Conor.

Haru has been with us for a few months now (time flies!). He's from Japan, but has always had a soft spot for the UK. He loves coffee and chatting with people -- especially about coffee (so you should come say hi!). He's been absolutely invaluable in helping us with production, packaging, and venue management.

Conor has just joined Sustain. He's been working in speciality coffee for years, and is helping us grow the cafe -- fine-tuning our filter and espresso recipes, and generally running the cafe side of things. As a fun fact, me and Conor actually worked together at a different coffee shop a few years ago! Reunited.

So if you've not been by for a while, pop down to the cafe for a coffee to say hi to our new team members!
