As well as coffee, the farm is also a refuge for biodiversity -- it has green corridors, 96 hectares of protected forest and numerous water sources, all complimented by active reforestation programs, water conservation efforts, and wildlife protection initiatives. Hacienda La Luisa supplies the majority of drinking water to the \u003cspan\u003eSarchí \u003c\/span\u003ecanton and is a major source of employment for families in Los Ángeles, Pueblo Nuevo, and La Luisa.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow did we choose it?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMo is a massive fun of the Costa Rican coffees -- it's where the Sustain vision started.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe tried this coffee on a cupping table at Brighton Coffee Festival and couldn't stop thinking about it -- which is saying a lot, because Mo tried a lot of samples during BCF!
